We are a team of scientists and engineers passionate about building a diverse STEM community.
Skills in science and engineering have become a necessity in the 21st century. As sectors become increasingly specialized following advancements in fields like A.I. and chip design, the American education system is falling behind.
Historically underrepresented groups face the greatest lack of prior exposure to STEM. At Techno Tinkers, we tackle this challenge in myriad ways. STEM is the future, and it is imperative that underrepresented students are prepared to contribute to and shape these rapidly evolving fields.
Meet the team
Early exposure to STEM shaped the career aspirations of siblings Amina, Abdiaziz, and Fuad. Together with their father in 2018, they founded Techno Tinkers to work with underrepresented students who might be interested in STEM - given resources, guidance, and inspiration.
